This magnificent yacht was built by Alexander Stephen and Sons in Glasgow for James Lyle Mackay, 1st Earl of Inchcape, who happened to be chairman of the P&O - Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. She was 2115 tons, 265 feet long, and was the most luxurious yacht ever built on the Clyde. He only got to enjoy her for a couple of years, however, as died aboard her in Monte Carlo in 1932. Ralston of Glasgow for London brokers George Wilson & Co. Very good condition.. b/w silver prints, 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches, on glossy stock. (Inventory #: 42066)
