BEWICK FAMILY COPY, signed twice by Thomas Bewick (one dated 1784) in addition to childish scribbling.
Provenance: Bewick bookplate identified as Dr C Clark Collection (Alnwick), also inscribed in pencil as a gift from Jane Bewick to E P Jupp, 1877. OCLC records a single copy at Dartmouth College although collated with only 2pp adverts at the end.
A 2nd edition dated 1783 is recorded with similar collation in two copies (Lilly Library, Univ of Newcastle).
