Beautiful large working drawing of the early days of the Automobile. Full title in pencil; She: "So you think the necessities of life are constantly advancing in price? For instance? He: "Well, the average fine for 'auto-speed-ing' has advanced from ten dollars within a year." Date stamped on verso 1902. Frank Arthur Nankivell was an Australian artist and political cartoonist, known for his caricatures in publications such as Puck.
