___DESCRIPTION: Library binding, front board in bands of black, orange and cream with Gorey illustrations in the bottom/cream band, plain endpapers, Gorey's signature on the title page; oblong sixmo (6.5" tall and 8" wide), 18 leaves. The dust jacket mirrors the book's design on the front, price of $3.50 on the front flap, summary of book on the front flap, short author and artist bio on the back flap.
___CONDITION: Volume fine overall with a strong, square text block, solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and it is entirely free of prior owner markings; a minute amount of rubbing to head and tail of spine, else fine. The unclipped dust jacket is near fine with minimal edgewear, a prior bookseller marked through the printed price lightly with pencil and apparently wrote another price below (now erased).
