This pocket map showing Express Bus routes in New York City was published by the Department of Transportation in January 1995. The map covers all five boroughs, and parts of NJ and LI. Routes are color coded and notated with their respective operating agency. Bridges and tunnels are labeled with all transecting bus routes. Verso of the map features a larger scale map of Manhattan south of 86th Street, and includes a detailed guide to each route with hours and frequency of service noted. The New York City Department of Transportation (NYDOT) is a city agency responsible for transportation infrastructure, and with managing the contracts of private companies providing express bus services. At the time of this map's publication, about 2/3 of express services were operated by these companies. The map is in very good condition.
