Markham", oblong folio, 1 page: By virtue of the Commission granted by William Penn, Governor of the Provence of Pennsylvania, 1689, approving a land grant in the County of Chester, Pennsylvania, unto Mordecai Moore, possibly the Jewish merchant. Also signed by John Goodson - the first English physician to come to Philadelphia, arriving before William Penn. Lightly damp-stained which does not detract, with crisp clear signatures.
