Rare set of early 20th century photograph albums of a British family, presuma Brigadier Malden A. Studd of the British Army with his family, traveling arou India between 1929 and 1931. The first album begins "By car. Rawalpindi to Cawnpore & back. Nov. 1929 - Jan 1930," and the albums continue to gather photographs into special episodes in their travels such as "Khyber Pass 1930, and "Kashmir 1930." The second volume starts with a continuation of "Kashmi 1930," "Delhi. Dec 1930," "On the voyage home March-April 1931, H.T. Dorsetshire," etc. All pages and photographs are captioned and identified. Last eight pages in second volume blank, otherwise they are filled with interesting photographs.
