A group of 14 menus from the cruise ship S. S. Oceanic (of which 2 are duplicates). They are dated from Sunday, June 16, 1968 to Friday, June 21, 1968. Some, but not all, features images from a series on West Indies Pirates. All the colored covers have a pleasant 1960's "vibe".~~The Oceanic was the first newly built ship ordered by Home Lines, whose seal in found at the bottom of the front cover of each menu. She was ordered from the Cantieri Riuniti del' Adriatico shipyard at Monfalcone, Italy. ~~The Oceanic ran seven-day cruises from New York to the Bahamas, and these menus are almost certainly from one of those cruises.~~Those who partook of one of these cruises were quite well-fed, at least judging from the very elaborate menus.~~~.
