Two pamphlets, the first 10 pp. with images from photos throughout is The Treatment of Laryngeal Tuberculosis by Reflected Sunlight developed by a Frank Verba who in 1914 had severe laryngeal tuberculosis and was told by many doctors his case was hopeless. It describes his journey, how it was tested and the apparatus was developed and used. Images of device and parts, using the device and the complete kit. Measures 9 1/2" x 4". The second 6 pp. brochure is Directions for the Treatment of Laryngeal Tuberculosis. Providing detailed information on placing the reflectors and that the patient should always wear a hat when taking treatment to protect the head from a possible rise of temperature. Also includes instructions for assembling the machine.
