Mankiewicz's request, Frank Loesser wrote three new songs for the film: "Pet Me Poppa", "A Woman in Love", and "Adelaide", the last written specifically for Frank Sinatra. This script prints these new lyrics for the first time. The film stars Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra, Vivian Blaine, Stubby Kaye, Sheldon Leonard, Regis Toomey, etc. A highly successful motion picture that was nominated for five Academy Awards.
