This small catalog is dedicated to an exhibition of works by Karel Miler, Jan Mlčoch, and Petr Štembera. The three Czech artists met around 1972. At the time, Miler was producing works of minimalist poetry while Štembera and Mlčoch were partaking in performance art and body art. Their influence led Miler to performative art and photography. The trio recorded their performances and actions in photographs and sent them to conceptual art galleries abroad, as they found it very difficult to have their works shown in Czechoslovakia.
Each artist has a page of reference text or commentary - in Miler's case a single sentence - facing a page with one or two photographs showing the artist in performance. The last page contains a list of exhibited works and performances by the three artists. Scarce; as of June 2022, OCLC shows only a single holding at the British Library. (Inventory #: 52067)
