Cleveland: World Publishing Company. Very Good+. 1949. Hardcover. A very nice example of this famous pulpit Bible designed by Bruce Rogers and published by The World Publishing Company in Cleveland in 1949. The book measures 19 x 14 inches (49 x 36 cm) and is in the original red cloth binding with gilt pictorial upper cover and gilt titling to the spine. There are a few scratches to the cloth, primarily to the lower cover (see photos) but the binding is firm and the contents are clean, unmarked and fresh - Very Good condition. Included is a copy of "The Making of Bruce Rogers World Bible," No. 1066/1875 also Very Good condition in a worn slipcase. . (Inventory #: 77276)
