This is a monumental catalogue raisonné of artist Robert Motherwell's work as a printmaker, and includes all of his graphic work from 1943 to 1990. It was produced in association with the American Federation of Arts. The more than 450 works include virtually every medium from engraving and lithography to collage and mezzotint. Each work is documented and reproduced, almost all in color. The volume includes a note from Motherwell, interviews with artists he worked with, selected biographical information, a bibliography and an index.
