Johnson & Son illustrated company letterhead urging a Michigan hardware store to follow up on a potential order of Johnson's Artistic Wood Finishes. Signed in black ink by S. Collier. Measures 11" by 8.5"; verso blank. The illustrated letterhead depicts a domestic scene with stylish wood furniture, and promotes the company's wood polish products. S.C. Johnson was founded in 1886 by Samuel Curtis Johnson, and originally sold floor waxes and polishes.
