First edition, U.S. issue, of the first in the sequence of Lubbock's interesting artist's books, limited to a total of 150 numbered copies, designed by Will Carter and printed at the Stellar Press on Barcham Green handmade paper, and signed by the author/artist. The illustrative matter consists of a multitude of double-page, single-page and half-page handprinted intricately worked copperplate engravings and etchings by Lubbock, with colors applied by intaglio and relief, with additional color highlighting applied by hand.
