Dubuque, Iowa [?], 1923. Two quarto notebooks approx. 10¾" x 8½", ostensibly created at Loras College, Dubuque. These are neat and tidy class and laboratory notes, some in typescript but largely manuscript, and largely accompanied by careful drawings in colored pencil. There is some toning of the paper, but overall these are in very good, sound condition, or better. In the first volume, titled "Embryology and Histology" in gilt on the upper cover are sections covering Embryology (56 pages of manuscript and typed notes, many with drawings in red, blue, or lead pencil, together with 26 mostly full-page drawings in red, blue, yellow and lead pencil); Histology (64 pages of typed and manuscript notes with numerous small drawings, together with 19 mostly full-page drawings in red, blue, yellow, green and lead pencil); and, Comparative Anatomy (66 pages of manuscript and typed notes, some with drawings in red, blue, or lead pencil, together with 18 mostly full-page drawings in red, blue, yellow, green and lead pencil). In the second volume, titled "Entomology and Plant Morphology" in gilt on the upper cover are sections covering Entomology (59 pages of typed and manuscript notes, together with 15 mostly full-page drawings in red, blue, yellow, green and lead pencil); Plant Morphology (20 pages of manuscript notes with a few illustrations in ink and pencil, together with 24 mostly full-page drawings in red, blue, yellow, green and lead pencil); and, Social Psychology (51 pages of typed and manuscript notes, and 1 drawing).
