She wrote poems, novels, fairy tales, biographies and autobiographical prose. Unsere Carlotta (first published 1901) tells the tragic tale of a woman who kills the man who betrays her. The novel is set in Tuscany where Kurz spent 37 years, and where she was on friendly terms with Arnold Bocklin and other German artists. Among her most important publications are Florentiner Novellen (1900) and Vanadis. Der Schicksalsweg einer Frau (1931), an autobiographical, psychological novel. (Inventory #: 30478)
