One of three hundred and fifty copies on Van Gelder. Thomas Hutchinson's copy, with his characteristic shelf-label, several relevant clippings affixed to pastedowns, and 1894 transcription of Monkhouse's presentation inscription in Edmund Gosse's copy of this book. Inserted after the table of contents is a brief, one page a.l.s. from Monkhouse to Hutchins, Regents Park, 23 April 1892, declaring: "I have not even a label - let alone a bookplate, for which I am sorry as I should have been glad to oblige you...."
