Chile, 1953, studied, lived, and worked at the Ontario College of art and the Tamarind Institute before returning to Chile in 1987). The theme is his personal version of the iconography of the temptations of Saint Anthony Abad with antecedents in Bruegel and Dali plus his art of the fantastic and surreal using themes of the 1973 military coup. The series includes paintings of photo-emulsions, oil and serigraphy. Frommer works as part of the TAV (Taller de Artes Visuales) a collected founded in 1974 by artists expelled by the Art Faculty of the University of Chile during the military coup. He is widely recognized for his print art and experimental multi-displinary work using various media. (Inventory #: 78496)
