Engraved title vignettes and opening vignettes by Isaac Taylor. A nice set, bound with the half-titles. First edition of "the principal continuation, or imitation, of Dodsley" - Williams. Two additional volumes were published in 1770. This edition exists in two forms here, the last quire in volume two was reset, with partly different text, numbered 305-320 to make up for the repetition of pp.271-2.
