Boston: Little, Brown, 1925. First Edition. 8vo, pp. 212. A very good copy bound in blue cloth, spine label browned, in the original dj 9with clear tape mends on the covers and spine, sme nicked. Inscribed by the author: "To Barrett H. Clarke, from George Kelly, Jan. 1925." With Clarke's bookplate. This collection of vaudeville plays were originally performed by the author. The title play was later made into a film by Bryan Foy, in 1929. Barrett H. Clarke (1890-1953) was an actor and stage managr before becoming at editor at Samuel French and Company. He was executive director of the Dramatist Play Service. (Inventory #: 41493)
