Author's name and title underlined in pencil on the title page, casing has been "repaired" (spine panel glued tightback to textblock) which further compromises its exceedingly worn and brittle constituent materials, paperstock deeply browned and hard to handle for brittleness; the joints are broken through and there is some chipping of the leather.
