1971 · San Francisco, CA
San Francisco, CA: Bay Area Institute, 1971. Four-panel 8.5x11 inch leaflet that unfolds to make a poster four times that size, the latter with title "How to stop Standard?", depicting a woman with a gas nozzle and a bird struggling to get unstuck from an oil-soaked globe. Evenly toned else very good on newsprint. Published after a major oil spill in 1971 that polluted much of the coast around San Francisco. Photos show injured wildlife. (Inventory #: 131453)
