Jackson, MS: Office of the 'Mississippian,', 1838. First edition thus. 8vo. 8 pp. Revised editions were issued in 1859, 1912, and 1952 ( all with 8 to 16 pages). The first rules for the Mississippi Territory's Supreme Court were printed in Natchez in 1806; we have been unable to find earlier Supreme Court Rules for the state. Not recorded in Sabin, the NUC, or American Imprints. OCLC locates one copy (U.S. Department of Justice Library, but that copy collates as the state's Laws, Statutes… ["xviii, 932 pp."], also issued in Jackson the same year, and is four centimeters taller than this work). Original plain green wrappers (separating along the spine); indecipherable owner's name on upper wrapper, some foxing, but a sound copy.
