Nine stories set in Devonshire, dark and tragic tales mostly. "The Witching of Mary Jane Coldworthy" is a tale of backwoods sorcery. "Son of John" is a story of malignant fate. Lower corner tips a bit rubbed and bumped, a very good copy in fair pictorial dust jacket with remainder sticker affixed to front panel, and wear and chipping at edges, affecting some of the type.
