This novel about rejuvenation takes its title from a Yeats poem which compares the years to Great Black Oxen driven on by God the herdsman. A clean, tight, very good copy. 1-page Autograph Letter Signed (ALs) from Atherton thanking a Mr. Lublin (presumably a reviewer) for "the kind words you say about Black Oxen" laid in.
