Parisiis: Fredericum Leonard, 1677. 4to, pp. [14], 329, [1], plus [156}-page "Index Omnium Verborum;" elaborate engraved allegorical frontispiece, title-page vignette, and engraved head- and tail-pieces and dec. initials throughout; in slightly later full paneled calf, dec. gilt spine in 6 compartments , the gilt mostly worn away, gilt-lettered dark brown calf label in one compartment, the gilt still fresh and intact, some wear to extremities and a few wormholes on front cover, joints cracking and a little tender, especially the front hinge; the text with generous margins and showing scattered minor foxing and browning; still overall a good, sound copy. Justinus (3rd century AD) here preserves portions of the general history written by Pompeius Trogus (1st century BC).
