Monte Carlo, 1933. unbound. 1 page, 8 x 5.5 inches, Monte Carlo, March 3, 1933 -- three bars from Chopin's Berecuse, signed, "Meillleur souvennir de A. Brailowsky Monte-Carlo, Sellars 1933." One light horizontal fold at the center and a tiny crease at the lower left corner; very good condition. Brailowsky, a Russian concert pianist and composer, was considered one of the greatest interpreters of Chopin's works. He visited New York City in 1924 and 1938, appearing at standing-room-only sold-out venues. (Inventory #: 213729)
