Original autograph signature of actress Barbara Stanwyck, “To Bill from Barbara Stanwyck” on a 6” x 4 1/2” sheet from an autograph album. On the verso is affixed a color photo magazine clipping of actor Robert Taylor to whom Miss Stanwyck was once married. Fine. Barbara Stanwyck (1907 - 1990) starred in many great films, including ‘Forbidden’ (1932), ‘Stella Dallas’ (1937), ‘Double Indemnity’ (1944), ‘Remember the Night’ (1940), ‘The Lady Eve’ (1941), and ‘Sorry, Wrong Number’ (1948), ‘Ball of Fire’ (1941), and ‘Union Pacific’ (1939). In the 1960s she starred in the long-running television western series ‘The Big Valley.’ She was nominated four times for Best Acting Oscars and in 1982 received an Honorary Award for superlative creativity and unique contribution to the art of screen acting.
