by Morrow, Robert D.
Chicago: Henry Regnery Company, 1976. xvi, 229p., photographic plat-map endsheets, first edition cruddy plastikoid boards gilt in red white and blue dj. Find a short closed tear in the jacket, a pretty nice copy. When better books are published, Regnery won't be the publisher. Morrow an ex-construction engineer who in early 1960 was close to Mario Garcia Kohly. "It was, I suspect, this close relationship with Kohly, whose Cuban underground was indispensible to the anti-Castro efforts of the Central Intelligence Agency, coupled with my technical training and experience, that led the CIA to recruit me in 1961" --those factors, doubtless, along with a gift for plausible narrative. Our suspicion: Useful collateral information coupled with disinformative primary. A stocking-stuffer for persons with wide flat feet. (Inventory #: 139567)
