Octavo. 406 pp. Bound in full black straight grain morocco, ruled and decorated in gilt, central armorial device with a crown over initials (A.A.?), spine with five shallow raised bands, titled and decorated in the compartments in gilt. Two bookplates, and an early engraved bookplate on the pastedown, and a later religious one on the front fly, contemporary binder's ticket of Hering of Newman Street, slight nick at the corner of the top of the spine, and corners a little rubbed, still a handsome, near fine copy.
