by GLYN, Elinor
New York: Macaulay, 1925. Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. First American edition. Fine in bright, very good dustwrapper, which would be fine but for a relatively large chip on the rear panel. A novel exploring women's methods for managing their men. Glyn was, along with E.M. Hull and Ethel Dell, one of the three most popular romantic authors of the beginning of the Twentieth Century. Her novel *Three Weeks,* now tame by almost anyone's standards, was considered something of an erotic phenomenon. She actively courted the press, was a factor in the discovery and popularity of Rudolph Valentino, and wrote the novel *It* which propelled Clara Bow into fame as the "It Girl." An attractive copy.
