New York: A.L. Burt, 1929. Near Fine/Fine. First edition. Some spotting to the foredge, spine gilt slightly tarnished but easily readable, a very near fine copy in fine dustwrapper with two small internal repairs, depicting flappers admiring their jewelry with the reflection of a tuxedoed man admiring them. Caryl is witty and charming and has numerous romances and adventures with the many men who admire her. An uncommon instance of the Burt edition being the true first. OCLC lists but four copies: two at the Library of Congress, one at the New York Public Library, and one at Harvard (with no indication which, if any, have jackets). (Inventory #: 68366)
