Fine in a nice, near fine dustwrapper with a small chip at the crown where it meets the front panel, and some light rubbing at the extremities. Very nicely Inscribed by the author in 1918 from his Concord home to Lyman L. Price, with a one-page Autograph Letter Signed by Merwin to Price, conveying the book, laid in. Price was a YMCA official, and pioneer in the field of charitable fund raising, writing an important book on the subject, *How to Raise Money,* in 1932. This novel was the basis for the 1921 film *The Passionate Pilgrim* directed by Robert G. Vignola, and featuring Matt Moore and Mary Newcomb. (Inventory #: 76666)
