He co-wrote the play "The Disenchanted" (1959) with Budd Schulberg, and adaptation of Schulberg's novel of the same name, about the life of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Breit adapted other novels for the stage including R.K. Narayan's novel "The Guide" (1968). Won a Tony Award in 1959 Best Play "The Disenchanted".. Signed by Author(s). No Binding. Very Good.
