An octavo measuring 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" with the photographic frontispiece of Bigfoot Wallace missing. In a very good unclipped dust jacket with two tape repairs to the upper edge of the spine area with the tape on both the recto and verso sides and with light wear and rubbing around the extremes. 299 pages including an index, bibliography and text. Illustrated with three reproductions of contemporary works of art drawn by eye-witness, Charles M'Laughlin. His formal name was William Alexander Anderson Wallace, but he was better known as Bigfoot Wallace, a man who is well known in Texas' early history. (Inventory #: TB24546)
