Berlin: Neufeld & Henius, 1910. First Edition Presumed. Hardcover. Very Good. Hey, Paul. 4to. 27 pp. Full page color plate illustrations depicting baker, miller, smith, saddler, tailer, shoemaker, scissor cutter (?), cabinetmaker, barrel maker, bricklayer, tin and copper smith, or in other words, professions which do not all exist anymore, and those which do bear little recognition to their ways a century ago. Facing pages feature verse about each of the professions. This is a rare book, and especially so in this condition. Some soilage on the boards, which are nonetheless attractive and the illustration of artisans dancing is bright. Endpapers decorated with gnome figures carrying props of various trades. Book is tight, and pages are generally clean, with the slightest of toing. A small or discreet inscription on title page, and a few inconsequential chips do not mar the superior quality of this copy, which is in very good or better condition.
