Good. 8vo. xxv + 549 pp. Eight colored plates, plus many other illustrations, in this popular treatment of shooting and hunting at the time of publication. Plates and interior clean and text block tight. Rear board starting. Front and rear boards attractively ornamented with bird and dog figures setting off corners of gilt lined panel. Morocco very bright and healthy on these boards, and dentelles inside cover bright. Marbled flypapers. Spine leather somewhat darkened and dried, with wear along tips, as well as common rubbing long joints. Overall, a good copy, and possibly better. (Inventory #: 000456)
