Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. iv, 84 pp. Lavish color illustrations, many full page, others underlaying the text as was a winsome feature of this series of young adult biographies of French heroes and leaders from the early twentieth century. The Maurice Leloir illustrations for this biography of Cardinal Richelieu are arguably the finest of this series. A few tiny blisters on the decorated boards. Top corner with bumping. A very good copy or better. (Inventory #: 001091)
