Very Good. 12mo. xxviii + 347 pp. A lesser known allegory than Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, written in a similar vein. Blindstamped contemporary cloth with gilt pictorial of warrior blowing a horn while a companion is holding staff and banner. Spine has gilt illustration of Bunyan and of shield. Rear board features same illustration as front without the gilt. Frontis steel engraving of the town of Mansoul. Binding is tight. Most pages are clean, toned. Some foxing/soilage in preliminaries and tissue guard and also last few pages. Overall, very good. Photos available upon request. (Inventory #: 000532)
