Small household cookery book, claiming to be compiled "entirely from private resources and personal experience. Includes a significant section of pickles and vinegars, alongside the fish, meat, puddings and wine recipes. Some soiling to pages, and modern owner's inscription and stamp, to endpapers. In gilt stamped and decorated red cloth boards, which appear to have been discretely rebacked. Still not unattractive. [Not in Attar...]. (Inventory #: 1906)
