Villemarie : 12 May, 1724. Very Good/Contract between Paul de Rupallay, the commander of a French fort on the St. Joseph River in the southwestern corner of Michigan, and Eustache Lambert Dumont, seigneur of the Thousand Islands, through the services of St-George Dupré, a voyageur turned outfitter. Dumont is fronting money and supplies through Dupré to outfit Rupallay to send canoes up the St. Joseph river, and return with pelts to Montreal by August, 1725.. 235 x 355 mm; 3 pages.
