Rare set of colorful trade cards not recorded on OCLC. Each colored card is two-sided. Card 1 is Front exterior elevation, "How to decorate your home." The retail firm of Sissons Brothers of Hull and London is identified on this card; Card 2 is Cross section of interior rooms behind the front elevation, "Artistic interior decoration." The kitchen, billiard room, library, and bedroom are depicted; and Card 3 is cross section of the rooms behind the rea elevation, but with different usages and different color, "Hall's sanitary distemper." The reverse of each card has text, especially on "useful hints o decorating" as well as the "advantages of Hall's distemper paint." Very good. (Inventory #: 38454)
