A somewhat scarce first American edition of this widely used work on insurance law. Marshall has put together a comprehensive discussion on the important aspects of insurance law, and uniformly presents "the facts, the decision, and the reasons assigned for it." He provides a list of the names of the cases cited, and he also gives some insight into the direction of insurance, and how that is linked to commercial trends.
