Consists entirely of a double-page four panel map of the Rhine (with the Rhine colored in blue), a vignette title-page, and 64 steel engraved plates. No text present. Contemporary leather binding with beveled edges. 22 cm. Some cover scuffing. Foxing, mostly light, on plates. Attractive patterned gilt on all (incised) edges. We don't know much about this copy which has a double-page map rather than a folding panoramic map, no text, and slightly fewer plates than most editions of this work. (Inventory #: 81415)
