Photoplay edition issued to coincide with the release of early talking film starring singer Al Jolson, Davey Lee, Marian Nixon, Holmes Herbert, Kenneth Thompson, and Fred Kohler. Jolson plays a radio singer who gets in tossed in prison leaving behind his wife and young son. Jolson sings “Used to You”, “I’m In Seventh Heaven” and, the classic song “Little Pal.” The front panel of the dust jacket is an excellent color painting of Jolson embracing his wife and son.
