A delightful book consisting of full-page photographs of handcrafted dolls in costumes which show the influences of other cultures on the dress in the Philippines, with commentary and historical information by the author. Bass was a WW II refugee from Manila who was awarded the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Ribbon by Gen.
