Rebound in three-quarter morocco over cloth-covered boards, five raised bands, top edges gilt. xv, 275 pp. followed by 24 pp. of advertisements. B/w illustrations. Autograph letter signed by Daudet tipped in at second blank (along with a mimeographed translation of same). Some light rubbing to joints and board edges. Spine slightly cocked. Bookplate to front pastedown. Small closed tear to top edge of second blank repaired with archival tape; a similar tear to fore-edge of half title also repaired with archival tape. Light toning to page edges. Overall very good with faults as noted. (Inventory #: 424146)
