[New York, 1850. Contemporary plain wrappers, stitched, 7pp + [1 blank]. Light wear, Good+ to Very Good. Phelps, he "obtained, as the following correspondence shows an unqualified retraction and apology." Fraser says he has been the victim of "a systematic and deep-laid scheme of villanies to filch him first out of his property, and then in his poverty, try to crush his reputation."
