Created in the 1975 in response to a military coup in Chile, La Peña Cutlure Center became a rally point for the Chilean-American community in the San Francisco and Oakland area during the turbulent 1970s and 80s. The mutlicultural center today "promotes peace, social justice and cultural understanding through the arts, education and social action." This flyer from is for disco benefit for Inkworks, a worker cooperative in Berkeley, California that has served the progressive community since 1974.
